St Johns Ambulance Brigade

Vision
To develop SJAB members to be confident in rendering first aid at all situations in and outside school and to be committed leaders to train the future batches of cadets.

Programmes

Besides the usual foot drill, physical training, leadership training camps, games and excursions that characterise all uniformed groups, SJAB also infuses basic first aid and CPR skills to all its cadets. The basic home nursing and first aid skills will be taught to cadets from Secondary One onwards. These lifelong skills may very well prove to be invaluable in emergency situations in the future. The cadets are also expected to take the lead in the annual school emergency exercise. Cadets also provide first aid coverage for school events such as the Sports Carnival and perform public duties for events outside of school.

TrainingEvery Friday from 3pm to 6pm.

Public Duty

Cadets are required to put into practice what they have learnt in First Aid by performing public duties for school events and external events.

Combined UG Overseas Expedition to Loola, Bintan

During the June holidays, 10 cadets represented St John for the 3D2N overseas expedition.
