School Canteen

Requirements :

1. Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Resident for stall holder and stall assistant.

2. Able to provide good service and quality food at prices determined in consultation with the school.

3. Able to provide cooked food that meets the health/nutrition standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the “Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP)” guidelines.

4. Able to maintain high standard of food safety and personal hygiene.

5. Must be healthy and fit to operate the stall.

6. Must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours.

Application Procedure :

1. Please click the link for the softcopy of the application form Microsoft Word - FormBF7 (2018) (moe.gov.sg). Alternatively, you may also request for a copy of the form from our General Office.

2. Attach the following documents with the completed application form

   • Proposed menu and price list of all items to be sold

   • Photocopy of the Identification Card (front & back);

   • Photocopy of relevant certificates including Basic Food Hygiene Course (WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures Course) and certificates of relevant courses attended.

3. Submit the completed form and documents indicated above by the closing date via email to bgss@moe.edu.sg OR to Bedok Green Secondary School General Office.

Interview and Food Tasting :

1. Only shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and are to provide food sampling.

2. Applicants are to present samples of their proposed food items (at applicant’s own expense) for food tasting session by the Canteen Selection Committee.
